💖 2024 Highlights & Lessons Learned: How We Helped Our Clients Shine

Wow, what a year it’s been! As 2024 winds down, we can’t help but feel incredibly grateful for the amazing clients we’ve had the privilege to work with. They’ve trusted us with their stories, their brands, and their communities—and it’s been an absolute joy to help them grow and shine. Here’s a look at some highlights from our current clients, and a sneak peek into a special freelance project that taught us so much.

💉 Byoode Injectors: A Beautiful Blend of Branding & Collaboration 💖

For Byoode Injectors, we’re working under the umbrella of one main brand, with a sub-brand dedicated to the injectors who bring beauty to life at the clinic. Our approach has been all about striking the right balance between a unified parent brand and a personalized touch for each injector’s channel. We ensure each injector is highlighted for their unique skills while maintaining a cohesive, yet distinct branding that feels like its own entity.

One tool we’ve found to be a game-changer is the collaboration tool, which helps us extend our reach, share exciting updates about the injectors’ work, and connect directly with our target audience. It’s been essential for amplifying efforts and driving engagement with potential clients who may not know these injectors by name yet but will soon.

We’ve also embraced Facebook groups as a unique strategy to connect with the local community, especially since our business is located in a small town just outside Calgary. Through these groups, we’ve tapped into the strong sense of community support, helping drive awareness and trust for our injectors and their work.


💆‍♀️ Therapeutic Massage Kneads: Community Vibes & Location Love

For our massage clinic client, the strategy was clear—raise awareness for their new location and introduce the clinic’s services to a broader audience. We developed a plan that combined both organic and paid strategies, but with a clear focus: location awareness for the new space and connecting with the local community.

On the organic side, our goal was to keep engaging the loyal community that already follows the clinic, particularly as we introduced exciting new treatments like acupuncture and upcoming shockwave therapy. Our consistent, well-targeted posts have helped keep the conversation going and strengthen those relationships with existing followers.

To complement that, we used paid ads with a focus on location awareness to drive traffic and bring in new customers. Even with a modest ad budget, we’ve managed to achieve impressive results, hitting over 11,000 views—a metric we’re thrilled to be able to track!


🍻 Gallaghers Pub & Eatery: Onboarding Magic & Branding Moments

We’ve recently started working with a lovely neighbourhood pub, and it’s been such an exciting reminder of how important it is to have strong systems in place right from the get-go. Onboarding is one of the most crucial steps to ensure success on both sides, and as we work through this new partnership, we’ve learned a lot.

Here are a few things you should consider when you’re thinking about bringing on social media support:

  1. Are your goals realistic? Social media takes time, and it’s important to set achievable goals that align with your resources.

  2. Do you have the time for onboarding? This includes granting access to accounts and remembering passwords (trust us, it matters!).

  3. Are you ready to take advice? We might offer recommendations beyond our agreed scope, but it’s all in service of your success.

  4. Do you have photos/videos ready? Social media is visual! Having content at the ready is key, but don’t worry, we’re always here to help create it!

As we’ve begun working with this client, it’s been fun to dig into their existing branding—starting with their website and storefront—and build stories that highlight all the incredible specials they offer. It’s all about bringing the energy and uniqueness of their pub to life on social media.


🚀 Freelance Project: Building a Brand from Scratch

Now, onto a special freelance project we were fortunate to take on this year. While we can’t share the full details (hello, confidentiality!), we can tell you that it was a massive undertaking that involved conducting extensive market research (we’re talking 27 pages of insights), helping the leadership team differentiate between marketing, advertising, and communications, and then creating a comprehensive plan that tied all these departments together.

We worked on brand strategy, refining their visuals, voice, and even their mission and values. It was a heavy lift, but the hard work paid off. By the end of the project, we left them with the strongest foundation for their brand identity—clear, confident, and aligned with their long-term impact goals. It was, hands down, the ultimate marketing satisfaction.
