Instagram users would complain (and rightfully so) that they couldn't see the content they really wanted to see on their feeds, and brands complained that they couldn't post content at optimal times because the Instagram algorithm was making decisions for them. With more control, users will be able customize who they follow and how they interact with content. This builds excitement for brands and businesses to have a greater chance for their content to get in front of their audience.
